Rabbi Sholom and Chani Deitsch moved from New York to establish the thriving Jewish community in Northern Virginia that it is today in 1990. Their daughter Cyrel Liba z”l was born in 1999. They are launching the Northern Virginia branch of Friendship Circle in her memory.

Raised in Fairfax, VA, Yarden holds a Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling and has extensive clinical experience working with teens with and without disabilities. Having a teen sibling with Autism, she knows how valuable friendship is and is honored to have a part in launching Friendship Circle of Northern Virginia.
